Dr. Arash Padidar
Dr. Reza Malek Minimally
Invasive Surgical Solutions, the first pure Interventional
and Neuro-Interventional Radiology practice in California,
offers the most advanced Interventional and Neuro-Interventional
services to patients in this community. Our physicians, Drs.
Reza Malek and Arash Padidar, with more than 11 years of
combined practice experience, both specialize in and have
limited their hospital practices to this twenty-first century
medicine. Our mission: to offer the most advanced care in the San Jose area.
Our doctors trained at Stanford, Harvard and UCSF medical
centers in intravascular and non-vascular minimally invasive
treatments and procedures.
Intravascular
Venous Ablation was invented by Dr. Robert Min an interventional
radiologist also trained at Stanford University. This technique has become the predominant and
least invasive method to treat varicose veins with best results.
Dr. Malek has performed some of the preliminary work on the Dornier
laser devise before they obtained FDA approval for
intravascular saphenous vein ablation.
The advantages
of Interventional Radiology are advantages for the patient.
Most procedures are performed on an outpatient basis or require
only a short hospital stay. Risk level and pain level, as well
as recovery time, are often significantly reduced. General
anesthesia is usually not required. Additionally, the
procedures are often less expensive than surgery or other
alternative treatment options. These “through the skin”
procedures are typically significantly less invasive as well as
less costly than traditional surgery.
Our staff
understands the unique and varied needs of each patient while,
