Dr
Padidar completed his undergraduate degree at Boston University
and graduated medical school from Chicago Medical School.
Dr.
Padidar continued an internal medicine residency at St. Mary’s
Hospital, San Francisco and a diagnostic radiology residency
at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, San Jose, California.
He subsequently obtained board certification in Diagnostic
Radiology.
For
five years, Dr. Padidar acted as Chief of Interventional Radiology
in private practice in San Luis Obispo, California after which
he joined Pacific Imaging Consultants, a large interventional
radiology practice in the Bay Area and covered hospitals such
as Summit Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, and San Ramon Hospital.
In
2003, Dr. Padidar completed a cardiovascular and interventional
radiology fellowship at Stanford Medical Center.
Dr.
Padidar has performed many endovascular venous ablations using
different laser devices for treatment of lower extremity varicose
veins. Dr. Padidar is expert at treatment of venous
diseases including treatment of deep venous thromboses, re-cannalization
of veins, and inferior vena cava filter placement. Dr.
Padidar has a sub specialization in the treatment of thoracic
and abdominal aortic aneurysms as well as carotid artery stenting
and is active in research and publications in this field.
He is a full member of Society of Interventional Radiology
and American College of Phlebology.
