Insurance coverage in
today's health care environment can be very
complex. Most insurance carriers now determine the
medical necessity for a procedure - NOT
you or your physician. In addition, varicose vein
treatment must be pre-determined (the process by
which the insurance company decides whether or not
the treatment is medically necessary) prior to any
treatment. Any necessary documentation will be
submitted in order to obtain the maximum benefit
available for your treatment. However, The
MyVeins Center will not falsify information to
obtain insurance benefits in any circumstance.
We are familiar with
most insurance plans and will be more than happy to
submit claims for non-cosmetic
treatment on your behalf. Though we will contact
your carrier prior to treatment, it is advisable for
you to call as well. Because many variations in
contracts and benefit levels exist, we also
recommend checking your benefit booklet to become
familiar with your individual policy. Please
understand that insurance coverage is a contract
between you and your insurance company.
You will be responsible for any balances remaining
once your insurance company has satisfied it's
obligation.
For your convenience,
we accept checks, ATM, American Express, Discover, Visa and Mastercard.
Finally, please keep in mind that
cosmetic spider vein treatment is not
a covered benefit with any insurance
plan.
